Grouping Notifications

I know this has been mentioned before but I'm bumping this. App notifications should be grouped together by notification type. If the notification type is unknown, those notifications should be grouped together in an "Other" group specific to the app. If others don't like this option, there should at least be a toggle to allow us to use this feature. I hate seeing 5-8 notifications per app.

I also noticed that notifications from some apps (like Gmail or Google Photos) are still grouped together. It's like they also can't make up their mind.

Devs can program this into their apps, and it's the recommended way to do it. The OS tries to group apps but may not work well depending on how the app handles it. Some seem to purposely avoid it so you get more separate notifications.

By grouping we would he
alile to dismiss an entire section of Notifications by type which saves
time and I used to love
that feature.
The issue is some of us have many Apps so whe receive multiple notifications. I can have
as many as 50 a day and The dropdown on each section made it easy to clean that
section instead
of Having to swipe 15 times to remove the notification
for one subsection.

So what I've noticed is that my wyze app notifications are sometimes grouped and sometimes aren't. Not sure why. Other apps are always grouped

There are times where you have multiple notifications of the same app that are separate. Grouping works for some apps but not all. Especially apps where the developers really don't care much about Android notifications. So you're then you're swiping a ton of notifications from certain apps. If the app developers don't want to categorize their notifications, Samsung should group those notifications together in a category called "Other".
