My phone s24U is not longer detecting faces in gallery, to use to categorize different people when searching for people. I cant tag names to any photos anymore. Any one else run into this?? Possible fixes?

Hi, I experience the same problem. I don't have any faces tagged in Gallery after upgrading of my S24 to one UI 7. After a day of trial and error, I successfully overcome it and having faces tagged in Gallery again.
Here is the list of actions I have taken to recovery it.
1) Cleared the data of system app CMHProvider
2) Cleared the data of Samsung Gallery
3) Removed unwanted photos and videos from the phone (I used to have dozen of large movie files in MKV format and several thousands of photos)
4) Rebooted the phone and hoping the face tag will reappear but nothing shows up immediately.
5) I further cleared the data for system app MediaSearch
6) I further cleared the data for system app FaceService
7) Rebooted the phone and hoping for good but nothing shows up immediately
😎 I disabled auto Power Saving, Light Computing Power and Battery Protection. I connect the phone to charger and left it overnight.
9) Viola, I see the faces tagged in Samsung Gallery in next day morning.
In the process, I have some observations.
a) Even you hide the photo album in Gallery, the face tagging will also be performed. I used to hide the Whatsapp image in the Gallery. When the face tag is ready, I tried enabling the Whatsapp image in the Gallery again, I instantly observe additional faces are listed in the Gallery and thus why I assume the face tagging is done on all accessible photo and video instead of selected album.
b) Once the face tag function normally, I take a selfie and I notice it will be tagged properly after few minutes of idle.
c) Although I disabled battery protection and light computing power during the overnight run, I resume those setting (i.e. with battery protection and light computer power set) in the morning. I can still see proper face tagging after I took a selfie.
I hope this may help anyone suffered from the issue.
