SuggestionsCurrently, exercises with duration targets have to be set between 5 minutes and 12 hours. The lower limit of 5 minutes does not work for interval training. When trying to create routines for the different types of interval training I do, I cannot use duration as a target because 5 minutes is too long for interval training. Common intervals used by most people range from 10 seconds to 2 minutes.

SuggestionsDear developers,
please make it happen or otherwise users should move to different brands to make their exercises more customised.

SuggestionsChiming in to echo the frustration of others. I have found some exercises do allow for durations of under 5 minutes which makes this all the more frustrating.
I don't want my interval runs to be programmed as Walk - Burpees - Walk when the Run exercise exists and provides useful insight about my form and pace. Or at least, I think it does from the one time I tried to use it before resorting to this ugly workaround.
If, for whatever reason, allowing Runs to be less than 5 minutes breaks something somewhere then PLEASE create a new "Run Interval" or "High Intensity Segment" or something.

SuggestionsGuys, you can simply do the workout on your watch . There, you can set the reps to be 1 minute. You are welcome 😉

SuggestionsIt seems like we are talking to a brick wall at this point. 2025 and this is still an issue. A simple fix at that. Smh.

SuggestionsI would like to use the Norwegian 4x4 interval method in my training, but Samsung Health only allows a minimum interval duration of 5 minutes, even in circuit training mode. This prevents me from setting the required 4-minute intervals. Will Samsung Health be updated to allow more flexible interval durations below 5 minutes? This would greatly improve training accuracy and usability for evidence-based workouts.

SuggestionsSamsung! Fix this, it's ridiculous.
The customers want to customize their own routines and add own exercises.
Even crazier, it's already possible to set it up below 5 minutes, but only some exercises that are preloaded. There is literally no reason to limit this.
If I want a 10sec cycle, I chose it to be a 10 sec cycle! If 10hrs, it's gonna be 10 hrs.
FIX THIS!

Suggestions+1 on this problem. It seems like Samsung doesn't care for this feature.

SuggestionsIt's really crazy how they go out of their way to stop customers from using their watches for their intended purposes. I've tried so hard to help them over the years to make their software better but they just refuse time after time. Clearly no one at Samsung actually uses their watches themselves.
