SuggestionsAnd yes, I would love these working on the cover screen.
Update: I tried ADB commands to manually grant the permissions and no luck. Looks like Google needs to fix this, or Samsung needs to make an exception for coverscreen use by Assistant/Gemini

SuggestionsHello,
Thank you for bringing up this suggestion and the additional context!
We completely understand the desire for a hands-free experience on the cover screenāespecially for voice assistants like Google Assistant and Gemini. As noted, this current limitation appears to stem from how the Appear on Top permission is managed by the app itself, which restricts its visibility and use on the cover screen.
We'll share this feedback with our internal teams, and also relay it to our partners at Google, as collaboration may be needed to support this functionality. We agree that having Assistant/Gemini work seamlessly on the cover display would greatly enhance convenience and usability.
We truly appreciate your insights and dedication to improving the experience. Please continue to share any findings or suggestions you come across!
Regards,
One UI Beta Team

SuggestionsAlso if the appear on top permission doesn't work properly, it would have the same issue if it was unfolded because it still needs to be on top.
