Home Screen Only Mode: Search & DIY Home Issues (Beta),

Just wanted to flag a couple of bugs I've noticed in the latest beta when using the "Home Screen Only" layout. Check out the video: https://streamable.com/gvsop2

 

1. Search: The keyboard doesn't automatically pop up when you swipe to the search bar in "Home Screen Only". You have to tap it again. It works fine in "Home and Apps screens" mode.

 

2. DIY Home: Long-pressing for DIY Home customization doesn't work in "Home Screen Only", but it works as expected in "Home and Apps screens".

Basically, "Home Screen Only" feels less polished right now because of these. Anyone else experiencing this? It makes searching and customizing less convenient. Let's hope this gets fixed!

The issue is only when using the "Home screen only" mode that doesn't have an app drawer,

1. Open Samsung Members.
2. Navigate to One UI Beta Program > Beta Feedback.
3. Attach any relevant screenshots or screenrecording/video (if possible).
4. Ensure "Send system log data" is checked, then submit the report.

Important: Please submit the report within 15 minutes of reproducing the issue for accurate log data collection.
