So I think it would be a cool change if not only did they make the option for a vertical scrolling app drawer but what about the option for vertical pages like in samsung notes, it would be easier to organize the apps.
You could give it a cool design to slightly separate the pages for visual appeal and not looking too cluttered having just one long page of apps. It would also be nice to be able to change the transparency of the app drawer like how you can with the widgets.
Also it would be cool to add be able to add any widgets in the app drawer itself.
You could even go a step further and be able to swipe up for the vertical pages and sideways with two fingers for example to access the horizontal app drawer with different apps and widgets. And this would be an option to have both horizontal and vertical toggled on or just one.
