Lockscreen notification blur

Can we get an additional option to toggle blur of notification background on the lockscreen? It would help readability whilst also providing an aesthetically pleasing addition. Added a (low quality) mock-up I made below.

Interesting, doesn't look good at all, weird, although I'd say always hide notifications or at least messages, since if phone is stolen it's possible to see the two factor authentication code in the text message when a password is rest.

You can hide message content from the lockscreen in settings.

I think what would look best is a frosted glass look. It'd provide transparency and would also still allow things to be easily readable.
