Media player needs to live in the notification panel and not the control panel. It makes getting to music quick controls have more friction not less friction.
Is this a music control feature, or simply a notification requiring the music application to be opened? The answer likely explains its current limitations. However, enhancing user experience by allowing customizable placement and full customization of both the notification and control bar would be beneficial.
