Media controls should be in notifications

Thoughts on media controls in settings panel? 

I feel they should reside in the notifications panel instead, as they're both temporary and used often. 

Both layouts in current UI7 require you to either reach way up to the corner, or double swipe down to access them. Not very convenient. 

Or is there an option for this I'm missing?

Nevermind, I see you can swipe left on the notification shade to quickly switch to control shade.
However, media controls should be in notifications because of their temporary nature.
