The new One UI does not feel like an upgrade, but rather a downgrade in customization and hidden features below are the list of non customizable options in the first 30 minutes of this New, "better" update.
1. No ability to hold the power button to close it. Relies and forces users to use gemini. Cannot be cleared from the phone
2. Time display on lock screen is so large and cannot be changed, it could be read from the air traffic control tower.
3. Hidden menus like settings and other features that existed prior, now require finding unique swipe and hold features to access, cannot be displayed visually on the screen. It takes some specific knowledge how to access things as simple as turning off your phone.
4. No way to go back to older actually better UI. Please offer a way to go back.
5. New One UI forced update, without permissionfrom user, in the middle of driving with 10 seconds warning. It then took over 10 minutes to update.
More to come. Samsung please fix the customizable features and visibility of basic functions. At least add an option to not have to "find" and swipe for everything, and requiring gemini to do anything.
