Samsung has added quite a lot of animations in One UI 3 and in the One UI 4 beta. I think a major area of the OS that is lacking in animations is the notification panel. The whole experience feels too static and lifeless compared to the rest of the phone. They should add a slight bounce animation to the toggles, brightness slider, etc. when first opening the panel. Samsung could give a sense of depth to the quick toggles by making them shrink and grow when you tap them to mimic a real button press. The brightness slider could also benefit from this aswell.
