Issue: Currently, the Now Bar only shows the most recently active media app. If I’m playing Spotify and then start a YouTube video, the Now Bar switches to YouTube and I lose direct control of Spotify. This means I can’t pause, skip, or resume tracks in other apps without switching back to them.

Suggestion: Allow the Now Bar to display and control multiple media apps simultaneously, so users can:

Pause, skip, or resume playback for any active media app directly from the Now Bar. Seamlessly

manage multiple media sources without opening each app. Restore functionality that was possible before the Now Bar existed, improving multitasking audio control.

Benefit: This would make media playback control more intuitive and efficient for users who run multiple apps simultaneously.

Good call out!
The notification shade and quick panel media controls allow for multiple players simultaneously. Agree, Now Bar would be more useful with this capability as well.

On the Now Bar if I remember correctly you can swipe across on the expanded pill to view the other instance that is running. If not my memory must be bad or mixing it up with changing the track.
