Ever wonder why iOS feels so smooth even at 60Hz? It's because the animations are always locked to 60FPS no matter what is happening. This year Apple introduced 120Hz on iPhone and it somehow feels much smoother than my S21 Ultra. iOS is more optimized overall yes, but it feels smoother because the animations match the refresh rate. To me, it seems like animations on One UI happen at 60FPS instead of 120 and it can make the high refresh rate feel useless. Animations as a whole were really focused in One UI 3 but they need to be perfected this time around. I may be the only one who notices this, but I'd be glad to know if anyone else does
