SuggestionsI know that OneUI 7 will release on April 7th,so this beta program might be closed very soon,so this is very big features request for OneUI 8:
• Dark mode icons and further improve to match all elements across UI to dark mode
• More live notifications: screen recorder, call, quick share, galaxy buds popup(ditch current one animation for main screen and in-app popup and make them like live notification with new battery icon), Google/Galaxy Store downloading progress
• Improved screen recorder: Android 16 let us recorder separete app or entire screen,so this must be also implemented
• Make phone findable even when power off or battery goes down below 0%
• More lockscreen widgets
• Increase icons resolution
• More Good Lock customization, for NowBar, status bar,for example
• Implement more gaussine/progressive blur across UI
• Fix awul QS cutoff(like app drawer one, screenshot will be in the end)
• Fix color palette(force apps icon to apply filter)
• Fix padding in widgets(screenshot in the end)
• More attention to details,(for example, absent animation in QS control for galaxy buds)(imgur link in the end)
• Further animation polishing
• LC3 codec and more BLE and BLE Audio features. For example, let galaxy buds transmitt battery status even when BT is turned off(maybe make standby BT mode)
• More features to Samsung Health

SuggestionsHello,
First off—thank you for such a thorough and thoughtful wishlist for One UI 8! Feedback like this is incredibly valuable and gives our teams a window into what power users really care about, from dark mode consistency to live notifications, screen recorder upgrades, and more.
We also want to gently clarify that April 7th is not the finalized release date for One UI 7 😅. While we’re getting closer to a stable rollout, no official release timeline has been confirmed just yet. We’ll be sure to share any updates through Samsung’s official channels as soon as they’re available.
We’ll make sure your feedback is shared with the appropriate teams, and we genuinely appreciate your continued participation in the One UI Beta program. Posts like this help shape what’s next—and that’s exactly the kind of engagement we love to see.
Regards,
One UI Beta Team
