Copying iOS is like Samsung waving the white flag. Which is weird because, besides last year, Samsung has outsold Apple every year since 2011. This would be like if Kendrick Lamar swagger jacked Drake for his next album. Obviously, this is above the customers pay grade which is apparent in the fact that the best we could come up with was to make it look like iOS. I'm not paying Samsung for iOS. Samsung has 10000 employees in research and development, and 40000 software engineers. They can do better than copying the competition. Samsung's losing any sense of identity and that feels like an L, not advancement. Design your own aesthetic instead of asking us.
I got bullied into using iPhones 3 times. Didn't last more than 2 weeks each time. It's not even about how much it looks like iOS. It's that it looks even similar. Then, two beta tests with dozens of suggestions that keep referencing iOS. It's similarity today and imitation tomorrow. Then, I see Youtubers and articles constantly saying it's an iOS looking update. I don't even want to talk about that ultra watch.
Not only iOS, they copied their business platform too, eliminating the SD card, headphone jack, and charger. They even came up with the Dynamic Island, I mean "Now Bar."
I agree. I do not care nor understand people saying thr new "live activity ripoff" is great and better than apple's. No it is not. It is much cheaper than apple's and much less supported. It will never get the same support that Apple's original version got. That was a stupid thing from samsung to do
