I love the vertical app drawer, that being said., switching to pages and not having the ability to sort by alphabetical order is terrible for those that prefer pages.
There is an option to sort alphabetically. If you click the three dot menu beside the "search" at the bottom there is a sort option. Either Custom or Alphabetical.
I HATE the vertical wallpaper. This is my biggest complaint about my Pixel! I use nova launcher so it doesn't matter but I wanted to try OneUI home for once. If they don't add customization options to make it pages I'll not be using it. Bummer š
