Phone dialer record button!

Let me preface this post, this is not a want for me, but complaints on the members boards. I'm getting really tired trying to help people with this problem. Sending them to download Phone by Goole as an alternative phone dialer.

It has to be moved, too many people complaining about the placement. It's too easy when you have your phone against your face to accidentally hit the record button.

Me personally I don't have this problem, I mostly use my Buds or I am on speaker phone.

I agree with others as it needs to be moved. I like the feature and have used it on purpose and accidentally with my face 🤣. The people on the phone were like, why are you recording me. Oops my face activated it.

I have no issues where it is and not once have I ever accidentally hit it

My reading is that those who have the issues with accidental touches is that they do not want the record feature anyway. My suggestion would be having a toggle to remove it, make its placement (wherever that may be) on the dialer optional.

It is not an issue for me because I do not have that feature on my S25U, and there is no toggle/setting to enable/disable that funciton.

Not sure, possibly a state regulation or provider restriction in my area. Here is the setting in my phone dialer.
