After giving it a day to settle down, I finally get to feel the improved smoothness of One UI 7, and I'm delighted to see a couple of new animations. However, a few are missing in this beta, and I hope they can be brought back:
- We used to have a transition effect when locking the phone with an app open and then unlocking, but now the app just opens without any transition.
- The incoming notification animates in but doesn't animate out (it also disappears directly).
- I hope the pill for live notifications also animates out when it disappears.
In my opinion, One UI 7 feels fresh with a load of new animations introduced; what's left now is to finish them. Thanks for reading this!
