Sleep data is compromised after One UI 7 Beta installation.

After installing the One UI 7 Beta program, everything is working well, except for one major issue. Sleep data logged through the Samsung Health app has been compromised, with a consistent gap (zero data) between roughly 11:30 pm and 4 am (the actual duration could vary but this gap always occurs in this time window), every night. Actual sleep data is measured through the Galaxy Ultra watch. All the standard remedies suggested on the community site as well as by Samsung itself have been tried (both on the Galaxy S23 Ultra phone and the Ultra watch) with no avail. I don't believe the issue is with either the phone or the watch but with the Samsung Health app, interfacing with the watch and the phone. I have read about similar issues with the Ultra watch sleep data, reported mostly by our Asian friends and Tech Radar has written about this issue as well. Unless this is fixed soon, this will be a major disappointment and I will not be using the Ultra watch for my sleep data. An example of the compromised sleep data along with the Tech Radar article are presented below. Have any of you in the community experienced this issue and if so, have you resolved this successfully? Thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing this detailed feedback. The sleep data gap you're experiencing—particularly between 11:30 PM and 4:00 AM—has been observed by a few other users during the One UI 7 Beta, especially when paired with Galaxy Watch devices.

At this stage, the issue appears to be related to how Samsung Health syncs sleep data between the watch and the phone, rather than a hardware malfunction. We understand this can be frustrating, especially for those who rely on accurate sleep tracking.

Since this is a Beta environment, unexpected behaviors like this are still being evaluated, and your report helps the development team identify and prioritize fixes. If you haven’t done so already, we strongly recommend submitting an error report through the Samsung Members app, including logs and screenshots if possible.

Thanks again for participating in the Beta and helping improve the experience for everyone.

Best regards,
One UI Beta Team

Thanks for acknowledging that the issue reported by me is a real issue and corroborated by a few other users experiencing a similar malfunction in their sleep app. To get Samsung to accept this as an issue has been a herculean task, with the Tech support team I chatted with flatly declaring that they have not seen this issue and this has not been reported by anyone else. They further started that I should send my watch in for repair, although I kept telling them that in my opinion the watch has nothing to do with this problem, but, rather, it must be a software issue. They created a ticket for me to mail in my watch to the Samsung service center but based on your response, it is clear that the issue lies with the UI 7 Beta software. So, I'll not mail in my watch.  I'm hoping that your software development team will fix this major problem in sleep tracking when the final version is released. In the meantime, I'll just put away my expensive Ultra watch and rely on a previous generation apple watch for my sleep monitoring. Like I stated before, I bought this watch mainly to monitor my sleep and needless to say this is a major disappointment.
