Would it ever be possible to create solar powered phones? I have Samsung TV and the remote has a solar panel on the back, but a remote is a much more simple piece of equipment. If anyone ever does figure it out, charging speeds and battery life won't be as important.
With the danger to phone components, especially screen burnouts and possibly causing excessive heat, not sure a solar-powered phone is going to be made anytime soon. That's, if you always keep it out of pocket or without a case. At this point, the disadvantages outweigh the advantages of making one.
I saw Samsung had one in 2009. It wasn't a smartphone, but I wonder if they can figure it out. I know it doesn't help with the 24, but I'm thinking of possibilities for the S25. I thought the point of beta testing was to improve the product. Does it only have to be short-term ideas? Also, I wasn't asking "Why", I was asking "If" I know why. My question is really toward the moderator. I've heard that Samsung is working on this. I was wondering A. Is that true? and B. When? If Samsung is serious about it, I would think the solar power would be more of a supplemental source of energy, not the primary. The solar power would be just to maintain the charge. If it's not true, I would like to see Samsung focus on developing technology that could accommodate that.
Bro you just gave me an idea. I happen to have a solar charging panel that came off of a solar battery pack charger. 🤔 Perfect size to be on the back of my S23Ultra case.... 🤔 Hold my beer 🖖
