I'd love to see an implementation of this function into devices such as the S20 so that more battery life will be conserved, e.g. while watching YouTube the display can revert to 48hz, and when I touch the screen it's right back to 120hz. So basically just the same feature that the Note 20 has but on the S20!

I thought you needed an LTPO display in order for this to be possible and that was the reason the Note 20 Ultra can change refresh rate automatically.

if I could force the phone into 96hz refresh I'm sure it can be done via software. maybe not true adaptive, but it could at least cycle between 60, 96 and 120 depending on the circumstance/app
