Re: One Connect Reboot Loop

FlyingSwallow did you find a fix on this?  Did they send you teh OCM?  I am having the exact same issue.  18months and out of warranty and a nearly $3000 TV is useless.  Samsung said they can do nothing for me.  The reboot is so awful holding down the remote for remote management can't even launch before being rebooted.  Did you buy with a credit card?  I did - the insurance part of American Express said they were seeing a influx of claims on Samsung Smart TVs - i was the 10th one that week for something similar.  He only started asking after 5 claims.  Sounds like a consumer protection candidate - we are getting taken for a ride.  I just spent another $2K+ on The Frame - wondering if i should just refuse delivery.  I have little trust remaining in them.  I know this - and hate to compare them to Apple, but Apple really is solution drivin and i have never been abandoned for a clear hardware defect caused by engineering designed not to last. I threw down $20k with them in 3 months bc i was enamoured by the S8.  Mistake mistake mistake. And this TV opened my eyes to how they feel about their customers.

Re: One Connect Reboot Loop

I've had this exact same issue multiple times. The first time, a new COM solved it. But now, I've gotten 3 new OCMs, and none of them work. I even replaced the main board. Still no fix. So I have 4 useless OCMs, all with new cables, and a 2k dollar tv that I can't even plug an HDMI cable into. Samsung, pleeeease help.

You

quality would be my panasonic that lasted 10 years and still working fine including the remote control

You

 at 12:03, Aug 2:

so looks like I will have to pay for the replacement OCM as well if troubleshooting doesnt work?

Pramod

 at 12:04, Aug 2:
