2018 Galaxy Tab A with S Pen update

I bought this 10.1 inch tablet in 2018. It is running Android 8.1.0 and has an update from November of 2018. I was wondering if it will ever get an update. The apps update but the OS, never.

Thanks, that's what I figured. Do you know of any tablet manufacturers that regularly provide security updates or do they all suck?

Samsungs new Tab S8/S8+ and S8 Ultra are getting 4 years of updates

Actually it's just but it's a Galaxy a tablet from 2018 starting with the tab S8 Samsung has committed to four years of OS update and 5 years total of security updates

Thanks, I guess it's time to get a new one. This one only has 16 gig of storage anyway, which barely holds Android.
