Amazon Tablets app no longer supported

Amazon shopping app no longer works on Samsung tablet.  Have to use Amazon website instead.  I guess everybody is getting this error message?  I tried to re-install the app but that didn't fix it.  Is Amazon trying to lose customers?

I just did this (although I forgot to clear data and the cache) and it worked first time for me, so thanks

Stopped working on my tablet and my husband's tablet. Uninstalled the Amazon shopping app for tablets and install the app for mobile and it works fine on both Samsung tablets.
