Cannot place a call

Samsung is a fantastic product....

I am a proud owner of a Galaxy Tab S10 5G...

BUT....

Ever since the UI7 update when I try to make a call I get...... "Call can not be placed because there are no calling accounts which support calls of this type" whatever that means....

I think we were being used as guinea pigs for UI7 to see how everyone would react to the new layout soo they can make changes .

No, you can't, it's Data only.

You need to connect to a Samsung phone and turn on Text and calls on other devices. It's in settings, connected devices.

The internet is not always correct.

I, however am 100% correct here. You cannot make calls from an Tab S10+ with a SIM card. Of course the dialer app is there, so that when you turn on Text and Call from other devices is activated it's there for you to use.

Cellular companies are not going to let you have a Tablet that is also a phone for $10 a month. That is bad for business!

What do I know,,,,I never had a 5g tablet before, it has a phone dialer on it.

Do you have a Samsung phone, no phone or another brand phone?  If you were hoping to make calls from the tablet without having a Samsung phone, then the people at your carrier's store did you a disservice by not explaining to you that it was not possible.  If you have a Samsung phone, go to the phone settings/connected devices/call and text on other devices and find your tablet and connect it.  If you do not have a Samsung phone, you will not be able to do this.  If you have no phone, you will not be able to make calls.  You may be able to download what's app and make your calls through that app.
