SOLVED - Turns out someone in the home had tried setting up prior to the device being officially opened, so we DO have the password and all is fixed.
Hello: My mother-in-law purchased a new Tab A7 and the device out of the box required a PIN even though she has not set one. She can't go thru the PIN recovery process because she did not set a PIN ever. Even to turn the device off she needs a PIN, so I can't do a hard reset. Any ideas?
