EAS Alert

This morning, at 2:30, my Galaxy Tab A (SM-T580) issued a EAS alert.  There were the 3 tones and then an the announcement of an EAS Monthly test.  This tablet does not have cell capability. Does anyone know how the tablets receive the EAS alerts and how to disable them?

go to settings, click the magnifying glass in the corner, search for alerts, emergency, eas

Thanks but I've done all this.  There isn't a setting for EAS etc.  on the Tab-A.
