Dear Samsung Support,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to share my feedback regarding the recent One UI 6 update on my device. Before the update, I appreciated the edge-to-edge screen usability on my home screen, which allowed me to make the most of the display space. However, since the update, I have noticed a change that has affected my user experience. Currently, I am unable to utilize the entire home screen space as effectively as before. There seems to be approximately 1 inch of unusable space on either side of the home screen, limiting my ability to place icons or shortcuts in those areas. The previous setup, with the full home screen space available, not only provided added convenience but also contributed to a more elegant and visually pleasing interface. I understand that updates aim to enhance user experience, but in this case, it has impacted the practicality and aesthetics of my device. I kindly request that you consider addressing this concern in future updates or provide guidance on any settings adjustments that may help restore the previous edge-to-edge functionality on the home screen. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I appreciate your ongoing efforts to improve the Samsung user experience.

No changes were made to the uniformity of your home screen layout. However you can adjust your settings to your liking. What you need to do is hold down on your home screen you will see settings Go ahead and click settings now adjust your home screen grid to your liking And enjoy. By adjusting this it will allow you to either have bigger apps less space or smaller app icon and more space. Please let me know if this is what you're talking about. 20231130_155609_1000017215_1701384972.jpg20231130_155619_1000017216_1701384981.jpg

I think what you're experiencing is maybe your good lock app needs updating so that you can go to 12x12. But yes I do know the screens have usable grid space to support the format and aspect ratio. Unfortunately that is something that will always be. But you can adjust some items closer like the `tool bar. 20231130_160811_1000017217_1701385694.jpg20231130_161146_1000017219_1701385908.jpg

I just updated to UI 6 AND am too Experiencing this EXACT UI 6 GLITCH¹ On my Galaxy Tab S9 Plus...

THE update blocks 2-inches of space on the left & right sides of the home screen; and shrank the size of the home icons and more importantly, my multiple (once readable text-displaying) widgets².

¹ Yes — It is a GLITCH with the UI 6 UPDATE!

² Widgets are on other home screens not shown in attached photos.

I'm in the same boat... I'm totally regretting the update. They have to create a fix for this.
