Since the one UI 6.1+ update the UI performance has been bad when adaptive display mode is enabled. Predominantly impacts the launcher UI, while some apps but not all behave as normal. Performance improves if display mode is returned to standard 60Hz. With adaptive enabled it looks as if it goes below 60 maybe add low as 30 in the main ui and various apps, in particular when the keyboard is brought up.

Is this a known issue being worked on? I've seen others online fave the same exclusive. Factory reset did not fix it.

I wish I could downgrade back to one UI 6.0 until this is fixed

Same issue here and I just bought the tablet for it's 90Hz, currently chatting with Samsung support but I know they're not going to be helpful.....

Yes, I contacted as well without much help. Was hoping to see if it was a known issue being worked on. Submitted a bug report as well but it's been in the "we will reply as soon as possible" for a few weeks now.

I'm probably going to see if there is a way to downgrade the OS on it for the time being

Galaxy Tab A9+ (2023) [SM-x210][2 STABLE CUSTOM ROMs][GSI][ODIN] BATTERY LIFE FLAWLESS | XDA Forums This is the link I followed to get LineageOS on it. Keep in mind it is not Samsungs skin of Android so a good number of things are missing like their apps. Google Play store (As they don't have the license to use it) the settings app is different, control panel is different, etc.... Other than that the tablet runs better and 90hz works just fine. šŸ™‚ FYI This did void my warranty I'm pretty sure, but I don't care as it's a cheap tablet that I'm confident I won't break or anything

So I just put LineageOS on the A9+ and there's huge performance difference and I can actually feel the 90HZ (after having to mess around with some ADB commands) but I'm going to fool around with it more. My only concern is security risks but I'm going to look into it.
