TabletsHello. I'm a new Galaxy Tab S10+ 5G user, which I bought as a hard S-Pen user, including its Air Actions, which Samsung removed from all new devices this year.
During my first few days with the device, I quickly noticed that the tablet never properly recognized gestures performed with the stylus (like back, returning to the Home screen, etc.) immediately after detaching it from the magnetic holder on the back, where it's charging. That is, the tablet senses signals from the S-Pen, but a gray or blue circle displays a sad face during initial attempts. It takes about half a minute for the gestures to start being recognized. After that, they work flawlessly for as long as I want – until I re-dock the S-Pen. After detaching it again, I have to wait another half a minute. Issue affects S-Pen's button, too - usable for e.g. taking photo with short click. In the same moments, tablets recognizes long press instead of short click, which opens camera app by default.
I've tried everything – resetting the stylus itself in the settings, wiping the cache partition, factory resetting. Nothing helped. I don't have another stylus to test. Could someone check their stylus to see if there's a similar delay? I still have time to return the tablet to the store and buy another one; it's easier than dealing with service. The device is only two days old 😕
Thank you in advance for any help.
