When seeking an answer to the question of how to unmount an SD card from a Galaxy tab S7 FE this is the answer I found.
How do I remove the memory card on my Galaxy S7?
On Apps screen, tap Settings.
Tap Storage.
Tap SD Card.
Tap Unmount.

The problem with this answer is that when I tap settings, there is no "Storage" to tap. What I get is "Battery and Device Care" which supposedly includes Storage. There is no SD card option tap. Dead end.
On my old tablet, a Galaxy S2, I did the following:
Tap Settings
Tap Battery and Device Care
Tap Storage
Go to upper right corner of screen and tap three dots
Tap Advanced
Scroll to and tap SD card
Tap unmount
This does not work on the S7 FE. When I get to Battery and Device Care there is no Storage option to tap and there are no dots in the upper right corner of the screen. Dead end again.😠
I would send along a screen shot or two so you could see what I see when attempting to unmount my SD card but apparently this not allowed. Security reasons I suppose.
Can you PLEASE send along an accurate answer to this question as I have been unable to get one from any of the internet venues.
