TabletsWhen you have an Android device, in order to set it up, you have to log into both your Google and Samsung accounts (if you don't have a Google account, you have to create one). If you reset a device, you have to set it up again using the same Google and Samsung accounts it was originally set up with, unless one logged out of those accounts prior to resetting the device. One can log out after the fact, using another device, but one would have to remember the original account in the first place in order to do so. The passwords for your Google and Samsung accounts are completely different than the password you set to unlock your device.
