You should be able to restart any Samsung device ranging from tablets to smart phones by: swiping down from the top of the device to open a menu, keep swiping down until a power button icon appears on the top of the menu. Press the power icon to display multiple power options ranging from powering off the device to restarting the device. Double tap the restart option to restart device. I hope that helped.
