This is an egregious violation of my personal property. I bought a tablet and I would like to use it the way I want to. Instead I am continually harassed by the company from which I purchased the tablet, to use another one of their products which I don't want.

I have a different notes app and I do not want the Samsung notes app. But of course, because they have to cram all of their apps down our throats, there is no way to delete it or uninstall it, which is bad enough, but now the **bleep** thing is starting to open when I am in the middle of doing something else in another app.

I spent a half an hour going through all the settings attempting to stop notes from ever opening under any circumstances and it didn't work.

I attempted to get help from Samsung support but of course the person I was chatting with was utterly and completely clueless and wasted 15 minutes of my time. This person appeared to have just walked off the street into a support role at Samsung.

If this continues, I will buy a new tablet which is not Samsung and a new phone which is not Samsung and get this arrogant intrusive company with abysmal support off my back.

These companies think that they can continue to harass us after we have purchased their products. Well I'm sure they can get away with it with a lot of people. But thank you very much, I will be heading for the exits. I've taken enough abuse from these lawless amoral lumbering beasts.

I have never, and I mean never had a Samsung app forced on me. I don't know why this is happening to you. I do not use Samsung notes, although it is installed on my phone. I use a different notes app for my every day notes. Sansung notes can be uninstalled from your device. Are you sure you are not getting adware or that your carrier is not pushing this? Do you have a carrier locked phone? Samsung installs some apps on tour phone that may be useful to you, but you are always free to ignore them and install snd use what you want. They are not in the habit of forcing you to use their apps. Under what circumstances is this happening, snd ehat exactly is happening? Can you take a screen shot when it recurs?

It's not an invasion of privacy by any means, regardless of the source.

The uninstall option for Notes exists on my tablet (Tab S9). Go to settings, apps, scroll to Samsung Notes and tap on it. You should see an uninstall option.

An egregious violation of my personal property is hyperbolic nonsense.

You want to uninstall Samsung Notes, a long press on the icon, and a pop-up menu will appear. In that pop-up menu there you will see "UNINSTALL".

Delete it? Gosh, why didn't I think of that. Yes, I have tried to do that. There is no delete option. As I said in my note, I have scoured the settings, I have attempted to delete it the normal way you delete apps, there is no option to delete.

You still  have not explained the circumstances under which this phenomenon is happening.  As I said, Samsung is not in the habit of pushing or requiring users to use their apps.  You may have some malware.  We can't tell unless you explain in detail what's happening and, if possible, supplying a screen shot when it happens.  What version of notes is on your tablet, what version of Android and OneUI are you using? Is the tablet new, or have you had it for a while and this is new, sudden behavior.  If it is new and sudden, it's malware triggering it.  How about you try clearing the cache partition of your tablet?

Again, If you think that whatever is happening is an invasion of your privacy, then that phrase does not mean what you think it means.

On my Galaxy S10+ with One UI 7, the Notes app has an uninstall option. Is your tablet, which you never said which model you are using, up to date?
