New Tab A9+ unresponsive after One UI 8.0 upgrade.

Was prompted to update to One UI 8.0 in the first couple uses of a new A9+ tab.  Once installation was started the screen went blank and is not unresponsive.  Tried the power + down vol with no luck.

Left tablet on the charger overnight.  What am i missing?

Hello lugnutmcamshaft, we understand the concern with the tablet being unresponsive and would love to assist. 

We recommend continuing your attempts to reset or restart the device, as it can be particularly sensitive following software updates. If the restart attempts continues to fail, the next step would be to charge the device for at least 30 minutes, boot the device into Safe Mode to check for potential app-related issues, or perform a โ€œwipe cache partitionโ€ through recovery mode.

**As the tablet was charging overnight, allowing the battery to drain can help verify that it is fully powered off**

If the device still is not responding and all previous attempts have failed, service will be required. You can contact a local provider here https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/, or you can send a private message to any moderator by selecting the chat option with the tablet's full model code and serial number to proceed with setting up the service repair needed.
