TabletsAfter updating my Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G to One UI 8, the option to use the back gesture from the bottom left and bottom right edges seems to be gone (or at least I can’t find it anymore).
Before the update, I was able to trigger the back action by swiping up from the bottom corners instead of swiping from the side edges. Now it looks like the only available gesture is the standard side swipe from the left or right edge.
This is a problem for me because the tablet is wall-mounted and recessed into a custom frame for home automation control. The frame sits flush with the screen side edges, so side gestures are physically impossible to perform. Bottom gestures were the only practical solution in this setup.
As a workaround, I had to enable the classic navigation bar with buttons, but this reduces the usable screen area and doesn’t look great.
Is there any way to restore the bottom back gesture in One UI 8?
Is there any chance it will be reintroduced in a future update?
