I have a SMT-590 that no longer has enough memory to consistently update apps. It is also old enough to not get updates. I want to repurpose it. I have struggled to be able to install TWRP using ODIN. I would like to update the code to make this otherwise useless tablet not just be electronic waste. The ".5" seconds to hit the power and volume up buttons after odin flashes twrp is just too short a window to be able to get into twrp. Has anyone had any success repurposing this tablet? Any suggestions? It would be wonderful is Samsung provided a method to unlock these tablets after they have gone past Samsung's end of life.
