This may not be the proper place for this question but I'm at my wits end and something has got to break. I got accepted as a member of Samsung's ",TV and you" program. And if you've heard of it you are WAY ahead of every tech at Samsung. I have wasted the whole day yesterday and almost the whole day today (8-5-25) getting bounced around from department to department, person to person and I have found a total of 2 people that's even heard of it but didn't know jack about it. I even got referred to google (that was nerve racking) who proceeded to send me to a PAID service. I absolutely refuse to pay $50 just to get a number. Samsung can take their tablet back and STICK IT!!! OK, couple of deep breaths, I'm OK now, thru venting. Could one of the very knowledgeable folks on here please answer a question for me. I would sure appreciate it. As I may have mentioned I'm in the "TV and you" program and I received the tablet on Saturday to pair with my Samsung TV so I could get started logging programs i watch for their information. During set up I got to the part where the tablet requests a "Device ID" and that it was included with my "Enrollment Confirmation Email". Problem, I have either misplaced or deleted the email so here I sit with a tablet i can't pair with my TV and no one that knows enough about it to help. So far I've been told that the device ID is the same as the TV's model number, NO, it's serial number, aa-aa. And been told to log into the support website (support@TV and you.tv) countless times only to find out the domain website is FOR SALE. I digress. Does anyone know what and where I can find this elusive number or do I just need to call Samsung and tell them the deals off! Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. Signed; A BROKEN MAN

You may garner more responses from those knowledgeable about the program if you change the title of your post to something that includes the words "TV and you program"  There are many people on here using that program and may be able to direct you properly.  I am not one of them.

 

As an aside, I will tell you for future reference, if you sign up for any program from anywhere, keep all confirmation emails that include details, instructions or things like personal ID numbers and device ID numbers.  You never know when you will need them. Create a folder  in your mail app so that it does not get mixed up in general email and likely to be deleted in a "delete all" situation.

@jackierau You need to send a email to " support@tvandyou.tv " and ask them for the Device ID they normally respond in less than 24Hrs
