Why isn't My tablet compatible with Samsung S pen. Other companies give customers a dedicated precision pen with the tablet . It's been 4 years of my purchase ,if my device was compatible with the S pen I would definitely buy it .

The Tab A8 is a budget tablet that doesn't have a digitizer, which is why it doesn't support the S Pen. If that's important to you, there are other tablets at a similar price point that do support the S Pen. I would suggest a little research for your next tablet purchase.

I have a tab A9 Plus. I use a capacitive pen to draw and write with. No it does not have the capabilities of the S pen, but it does give me the capability of not using my fingertips all the time. So, if you just wanted for writing, drawing and convenience, just get any capacitive pen. However if you do need the functions with the digitizer in the S Pen, you'll have to go to the S series of tablets.

If it didn't come with an S pen then most likely it just doesn't support it.
Only some of Samsung devices have S Pen support, like how only some apple devices support the pencil.
