TabletsSince the A9+ isn't made for calling, I assume you are using call and text on other devices. Since there is no call mic on the A9+, you likely have to be using buds or headphones and use the mics on those apparatus for calls.

TabletsI'm able to make software internet calls. From the tablet using Google Voice and I call my iPhone 25 device successfully.
---
the SM-X210 (Wi-Fi only) absolutely has a built-in microphone. It is essential for video calls (Zoom/Meet), voice recording, and using the Google Assistant or Gemini.
Where is it located?
On the Galaxy Tab A9+, the microphone is a tiny pinhole usually found on the top edge (when holding the tablet in landscape mode).
Landscape Mode: If you are holding it horizontally (like a laptop), look at the top edge near the front-facing camera.
Portrait Mode: If you are holding it vertically, the microphone will be on one of the side edges.
