Hello, I have a Samsung Tab s5e with a damaged screen which no longer works, I was wondering if I can reset the device using volume + power buttons method but Id like to know if Samsung DeX still works without a screen attached and on the Android Setup Screen?
I've tried to use DeX on it but I cannot use until I unlock my device which I don't know if I used pattern or pin. My only options are purchase a new screen or factory reset it and hope I can use the device as new via Samsung DeX
