Essentially what has happened since the last software update in Jan for my Tab S9 +, while using certain apps (chrome, amazon, indeed, linkedin, reddit, gmail, to name a few) the scrolling feature on the track pad for the official Samsung book cover keyboard does not work.
It does work on the settings page and within the tablet app drawer, so its not a mechanical issue, but so far the only viable workaround that you can see from the reddit post is to spread your fingers very wide on the track pad and scroll that way. Its not a great solution because its quite uncomfortable, but it also tiggers the zoom in feature at the same time.
I feel like this is a software issue, and the timeline for when I noticed it (along with others in the reddit post) is 1/25/25, exactly when I last update the software on the Tablet itself.
I did also spend about an hour with a Samsung support rep going through all the available solutions and nothing else seemed to resolve.
I think its a Samsung issue. I don't think its a coincidence that it started happening at the same time as when I updated the software on the device. Its also odd because it doesn't happen to every tab in chrome.
I'm not %100 tbh, but I have updated the apps effected multiple times and am still having the same issue today.
