Samsung S8 Ultra Second screen (USB)

Hi guys, So I have started to use my Tablet as a second screen for productivity at home with my PC. It works great but would rather use it over USB. I did see in the Samsung second screen windows app under setting>Labs you can enable this. However, it seems to still connect via wifi only. I was prompted to download the USB drivers which I did with still no luck.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this fully working?

Anybody? Would also like to use Second Screen via USB. Under Settings->Labs there is an option but I cannot find anything on the internet explaining it. Why would they include the option if there is no way to use it?

If you use a usb-c to hdmi cable it plugs right into the monitor or TV  and opens Dex to create desk top enivorment . I use both screens with BT keyboard and track ball(mouse) to navigate just like my lap top. The only issue is you are only on battery power for the tablet. I have been trying to use a charger hub and it works until I plug it in to charge then signal interupts to the monitor but the tablet still is in Dex mode. Im here hoping to find a fix and will up date when I do if your intrested. I like being able to not have to carry a lap top then can drop into a "workstation" when need a laptop set up.

Hello, 

My problem I found was when running the wall station hub chargers was they would work till plugged in. They only go to 65w on the ones I found. As soon as I would plug it in the 2nd screen woudl go black but the tablet was still running DEX.

The solution I found that is working for me is using a usb c hub that can be powered up to 100w. Then add a 100w charger and plug it in to the hub. It now all works very fast and charges the tablet at the same time. Infact with the 100w charger everything grahic wise is very crisp and clean since it can use full acceleration. I will list the two pieces I bought on Amazon here. But if you find your own but equal should be good to go. Jus tmake sure you plug the charger into the USB-C port marked with "PD" not data.  Hope this helps.
