Samsung Tab S7+ Keyboard Stopped Working

Recently my keyboard stopped registering entirely. When I connect it, the tablet doesn't register that  connected; it takes no key input nor mouse pad input. When tapping into text fields, the tablet brings up the digital keyboard as if the physical one doesn't exist. There doesn't appear to be any damage to the keyboard. Anyone have similar issues or a possible resolution?

My apologies just want to confirm when connecting the keyboard have you made sure that the contacts are clean and undamaged? Also, have you tried connecting the keyboard with the tablet in safe mode?

  1. Turn the device off.
  2. Press and hold the Power key.
  3. When Samsung appears on the screen, release the Power key.
  4. Immediately after releasing the Power key, press and hold the Volume down key.
  5. Continue to hold the Volume down key until the device finishes restarting.
  6. Release the Volume down key when you see Safe Mode on the device.

If the troubleshooting steps did not help above then this will require service, you have a couple of options based on your warranty.

- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.
- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up.
- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators or you can call in directly at 1-800- 726-7864 with your full model and serial number to have service setup
- If you're OUT of warranty, you can use this link below to find a service center in your area.

Have same issue. SAFE MODE does not solve the problem. Cleaned contacts on tablet and on keyboard cover--still says "Physical keyboard not connected". Now what?
