Samsung Tab S8 Randomly Shows Docked S Pen Status

After the new One UI 5.1 update, my tablet randomly shows docked S Pen status despite being in place (the same way as how it's supposed to be stored). 

It mainly happens whenever I raise the tablet or use it on uneven surface (on the sofa, on my lap). It happens on safe mode as well. Tried to factory reset the tablet and reset the S Pen yet it's still happening.

I'm having the same issue as well, seems like its just the s pen itself, only difference is when i installed the OneUI 5.0 update

I have the same configuration with tab s8, keyboard cover, and oneUI 5.1. The spen status randomly pops up with just a greyed out pen and no info about charging or anything. (The pen and charge status work fine otherwise)
