Got my Tab S6 keyboard cover and was excited. It doesnt stick well to my tablet where if I pull out the kickstand and use it as a laptop the back will disconnect and the tablet falls down. I've tried wiping the tablet, wetting and wiping the sticky part of the case. Nothing seems to be making it stick well enough so it doesnt come off.

I was having the same issue with the back cover and finally figured it out. I recieved the cover a few days after the tablet and I was already using the tablet and there was finger prints on the back of the tablet. I took an alcohol wipe and wiped the back of the tablet and wiped the black part of the cover that sticks  to the tablet.  I then put the cover on and let it sit for a while to let the alcohol dry up.  I did that 5 days ago and now the cover is stuck on very good.

Hope this helps,

Thank God!! I've been going insane trying to get it to stick but no luck. Please tell me someone on here has a fix!

Update: Can confirm the back does stick to other surfaces. Tried it on the front of our fridge and it stuck very strong. Is our tablets warped? lol

I had the same problem. I applied alcohol wipe to both the Tablet and the Cover. The kickstand is now firm and does not fall off any more.  I think the problem was some dirt on the phone - fingerprints etc.

I've had it both ways actually. I had it fall off on my desk once. I have since been pressing it on with force and sliding my hand across it with some weight as if I were sealing an envelope. I think not only does it "stick" but it also suctions itself on when applied correctly. I literally couldn't get the thing to come off tonight, thought for sure I was gonna break it. Fortunately it did pop off.

It's an interesting design. Love the device, still trying to figure out the easiest way to apply and remove the backer part of the keyboard...

So I noticed when the kickstand is folded out the sides of the suction area bend up? Does yours do this to?

I've found that when my back is not attached it has a slight curve in it, even when its flat.  Looks like I will be taking it back to the place of purchase and getting a refund.  I think I'll hold off until Samsung release a new version that actually works.  Which is a pity, because the keyboard is actually quite good.

Read your post and tried pressing it down to get better contact, maybe get a little vacum action to hold it on. At first I was relieved. I thought I had found a solution, but about 10 minutes later I was startled as the back lost its grip and the tablet slapped back onto my desk. Maybe mine is defective? Really dissapointed, especially when I look at the bill.

Same here...I tried the cleaning suggestion and it stuck for a while and then collapsed on me and nearly made tablet fall face first on floor...

I had the same experience. At first it wouldn't stick. After pressing it did, and now it's like it's glued on. I was starting to wonder if was actually adhesive. Which is how I found this post, looking for the answer to that question. I didn't want to force it off just to end up ruining either the cover or the tablet - or both.

So, have you removed the part that adheres to the back of the tablet and put it back on?

So a quick update. After sitting on the phone with Samsung Support for about 2 hours they decided to replace the entire. The few people I talked to didn't seem to know what I was talking about but after providing them the part# off the website they said they will just replace the entire cover and I don't have to send back the old one. It seems like there are plenty of other people on the web are having a similar issue, so I am a little concerned about the longevity of this new design. I will update once I get the new one in the mail to see if I am still having the same issue.
