TabletsMy S8 Ultra reboots from the to time, 5 times so far in the two weeks I've had it. Seems to be when it's cold, no sign of crashing or other trouble, just using it and suddenly the screen goes black and I see the Samsung boot screen.
Any ideas? I'm a programmer (Windows, web) so I'd like to find something like Event Viewer to see logs of what went wrong.
Thanks, Bob G

I would try the factory reset perspective that Zakkry gave, and the consumer protection minded advice parts too, in case it is just defective and you need a replacement.
Your experience sounds similar to my wife's brand new iPad Pro except she had worse random issues than just restarting. She got and just returned it, and is ignoring new devices for a while..

It is charged properly. I'm a computer professional, no mistakes here. I am in this forum to see if any other users are having the same problem. I would mainly like to hear from other owners of Tab S8 users, though other help is welcome. Trying to avoid resetting the device or returning it for replacement if there is a firmware issue or other fix coming along.

TabletsOn the flip side I know samsung pays reporters for valid security vulnerability notices. Maybe they do something similar for firmware issues if you have the energy to find out how to pull logs and diagnose android/samsung issues.
Alternatively, find some way to make a tablet from South Korea work in your country 😂 I'd convert to being a BTS fan if it meant a stable system with consistent updates

TabletsMy tablet got an update a couple of days ago. Since then there have not been any surprise reboots.
Hopefully the problem was resolved, the update said it resolved stability issues.

TabletsI'm still having reboots even after the 12L update, but not nearly as often.
