Tablet S9+ Notepaper cover compatibility

Hi, does anyone know if the new Notepaper cover for the tab S9+ is also suitable for S8+?

I tried to look for the answer but I couldn't find a clear one...

The S8+ is 159.5 x 73.4 x 8.1 mm (6.28 x 2.89 x 0.32 in) vs. the S9+'s 158.1 x 73.8 x 8.5 mm (6.22 x 2.91 x 0.33 in). You can try, but it seems unlikely that this would fit properly. 😞
