Tabletsthe track pad on my new Tab S6 keyboard stopped working...the keyboard works, just the trackpad is not. I got a notification of a firmware update this morning and clicked update, but the update did not work, even though the keyboard was definitely connected. I tried again, and now the track pad is not working. I switched to DEX, and still no trackpad. Very frustrating.

TabletsUpdate. I separated the two pieces and re-attached the keyboard to the tablet , at which time I received the firmware update notice (again). The first attempt failed, but the second update attempt worked, and now the trackpad is working again. Whew!

TabletsI wish that worked for me. I've got the same problem, trackpad not working, keeps requesting to update the firmware... but the firmware never successfully updates. So I'm stuck. Probably will be sending the darn thing back.

TabletsTo turn the touchpad mouse on and off go through the following steps:
- Ensure that the S6 keyboard is connected
- On the keyboard, hold down the Fn button and then (while still holding down Fn) press the spacebar
- Text should then display on the device stating if the track pad is turned on or off
I hope this solves anyones problem 😃

TabletsWhen mine stopped working it would report turning off, but not turning back on. So, thanks, but no, that didn't help me.

TabletsI resolved the issue by disconnecting my keyboard. Taking the tablet out of DEX mode. I restarted the tablet. I reconnected the keyboard which prompted for the firmware update. This time the update completed.

It didnt show a message on the screen, but out of desperation i held it for about 30 sec and while holding i touched the trackpad. Suddenly the pointor apperaed on the screen and now working perfectly! T
