Anybody have any ideas for enabling VoLTE on a Tab Active3?

My (UK) mobile provider is dropping 3G, and warning me that my Active3 may no longer be able to make calls or texts or use data unless I enable VoLTE on it.  It kindof looks as if data should be ok because the tablet has 4G, but losing calls and texts would be unfortunate.

As far as I can see (from various different instructions about enabling VoLTE on Samsung), it is not something that Samsung ever saw fit to make available to the Active3: the option certainly doesn't seem to be there in the settings.

I received an answer from Samsung Tech Support saying that the Active3 lacks hardware capability for VoLTE, so there is no solution: either buy another tablet or switch to a provider that still offers 3G/2G.
